Crush Update

So, as usual, on January 1, I revealed this year's new Crushes, just like the Queen of  England has her New Year's Honors. It was an average size group. One new Ranger Crush, 13 new regular Crushes, 2 new illustrated Crushes.

Only one new Ranger Crush, and she could have been made one last year. Plus, she's getting ready to play another crush of mine, From Power Rangers (2017) and Disney's upcoming live action Aladdin, Naomi Scott.

Onto standard crushes.

From Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Kaya Scodelario

From Guardians of the Galaxy Vol II, Pom Klementieff

From Doctor Who, the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Karen Gillan.

(I actually thought about adding her two years ago, but Selfie didn't last long enough.)

From Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, and Justice League, Gal Gadot

From the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and Transformers: The Last Knight, Laura Haddock

From Suicide Squad and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Cara Delevigne

From The Mummy (2017), Annabelle Wallis

Also from The Mummy (2017) and also Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek: Beyond, Sophia Boutella

From Kingsman: The Secret Serice and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Sophie Cookson

From Jurassic World and Supergirl (the TV series, not the movie), Katie McGrath

From Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Kelly Marie Tran

From NCIS New Orleans, Vanessa Ferlito

From NCIS Los Angeles, and one episode of Legends of Tomorrow, Bar Paly

My designated YouTube crush of the year, from Star Wars' YouTube channel, Andi Gutierrez

Only two Illustrated Crushes this year.

Marvel's Gwendolyn Poole, aka The Unbelievable Gwenpool.

And from DC's Justice League, Green Lantern Jessica Cruz.

That covers the new Crushes for this year.  Expect a new class to be announced on Jan 1, 2019.

As for past Crushes, well, one of my recent Ranger Crushes (who is still on the current season.) is pregnant. I'm not the father. Her bay daddy is on Fox's 911, so, another reason Im not watching that show.

And then there's Allison Mack. You've probably heard about her legal problems. If you haven't, you've been blissfully oblivious. Apparently, she was a high-ranking member of a sex cult. She's looking at some serious jail time if convicted. And so, on the advice of my Legal Lackeys, her Crush status has been rescinded. Should she come out of this situation acquitted, it will be reinstated. But, for now, let her name be struck from the Crush Roster. Let her access to the GARamid be revoked. Her Charm bracelet and T-shirt will be reclaimed. (unless they are being held as evidence, which I sincerely doubt.) Her picture shall be removed from the GARamid, and her parking spot shall be reassigned.

And so it's come to this...

It's been over a year since Glitter Rock shut down the Cap-Page Board. And when the new galleries stopped, despite the forums still running, no one really posted there.

I tried to fill that void with the Cappers Playground. It wasn't anything fancy. It was just a general discussion forum. No Capping. (Not that I didn't try. The logistics didn't work out.) Just a giant open forum. A few Cappers joined, but, no one ever really posted. (Except to reply to one of my posts, but that was it.)

So, in order to keep the Capper world up to date on what's happening, who my new Crushes are, status of current Crushes, what movies I've bought, rented or seen in theaters, etc, this is the only way to do it.

Sure, I still tweet from time to time, but, the character limits would mean something like the annual update of new Crushes would take numerous tweets. (Not to mention the celebrities themselves could maybe stumble upon them.)

I'll recap a few things that were posted at the Playground, but other news will be brand new.

Let's see how long this lasts.
